The Aero Club Mt. Cornizzolo periodically organizes SIV courses (simulation of flight’s inconveniences) reserved to pilots already having a flight licence.
The takeoff is from mt. Cornizzolo (1060 m) and exercises are held above the nearby Lake Annone (200 m).

prossime date:

25-26-27 Maggio
22-23-24 Giugno
20-21-22 Luglio
24-25-26 Agosto

The SIV courses are splitted into three progression levels

LEVEL 1

- Spiral’s entry with controlled output
- Pitching on the pendulum
- Reversal of roll axis
- Piloting at low speed
- Controlled asymmetric Collapse not retained (non-accelerated)
- Not Controlled Asymmetric Collapse not retained (not accelerated)
- Retained and controlled Asymmetric Collapse (non-accelerated)
- Hint of Frontal Collapse

LEVEL 2
- “B” Stall
- Controlled Spiral
- Pitching on the pendulum
- Wing over 60 ° -70 °
- Approach to symmetrical stall
- Approach to asymmetrical stall
- partially Accelerated (partially Accelerated)

- Frontal Collapse (partially accelerated)

LEVEL 3
- Deep Spiral Controlled

- Beckoning of Symmetrical Stall
- Beckoning of Asymmetrical Stall
- Asymmetric Collapse not retained and controlled (fully accelerated)
- Asymmetric Collapse not retained and not controlled (fully accelerated)
- Asymmetric Collapse retained and controlled (fully accelerated)
- Asymmetric Collapse retained and not controlled (not accelerated)
- Frontal Collapse (fully accelerated)
- Full Stall (post stall)
- Asymmetric Stall (flat spin)

It is Instructor’s responsibility to determine the most suitable program based on the experience of each participant. However, you cannot attend a 2nd or 3rd level course without first completing the previous levels.
The courses will then be held accordingly to the needs and level of each participant and are suitable and tailored for beginners pilot needing a basic education (level 1), up to the most experienced pilots who wants to improve their skill on the most advanced maneuvers.
